Rhaeadr fach islaw Fferm Dyffryn Mymbyr (Small waterfall beneath Dyffryn Mymbyr farm) - Dyffryn Mymbyr farm featured in Thomas Firbank's autobiography 'I bought a Mountain' but my focus was the tiny series of waterfalls that sprung from nowhere after two days of very heavy rain and the swaying stand of trees that topped the skyline. I purposely cropped the top of the trees to draw the eye to the very limits of the image before letting the white of the water lead the eye down the centre, zig-zagging right, then left before finally flowing out of the bottom right hand corner of the composition.
