Llif, Rhaeadr Ogwen (Flood, Rhaeadr Ogwen) - Rhaeadr Ogwen is at its most impressive and an awesome sight in full flood. After two solid days of rain, these falls, which in high summer can be more rock than water, suddenly become a frothing mass of white.

The eye is drawn to the water by not using white anywhere else within the print and an 'extra' pale tone (I expected to use 4 colours but a decision to use 5 was made as the original drawing developed) was used to suggest the steep north ridge of Tryfan as a backdrop. The top of Tryfan has been purposely cropped to give an extra sense of height and drama.
